Join the UNITAC Team as Urban Expert

The United Nations Innovation Technology Accelerator for Cities (UNITAC Hamburg), is a partnership between the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), the United Nations Office for Information and Communication Technology (OICT), and HafenCity University, a German technical university with a focus on the built environment. UNITAC Hamburg supports national and local governments with their digital transition, applying a multi-level governance strategy and helping them build skills and capabilities to develop, procure and effectively use digital technologies in an ethical and inclusive way to make sure that no one is left behind.

Funded by The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), "Just transitions in vulnerable places"  is a new project that aims to develop digital urban data platforms and engage with and support national, sub-national and local government institutions to improve enhanced evidence-based decision making towards localizing the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and the New Urban Agenda.

For this project, which will be implemented in Ukraine and Namibia, UNITAC is looking for two Urban Experts based in Hamburg to be in charge of the project management and coordination with the project partners on the ground as well as the partner organizations.
