Building Smart Tools for Sustainable Cities

Wednesday, 26 October 2022 - 4:00pm

During the past year, the UNITAC team developed BEAM, a tool that addresses some of the challenges that urban planners face in informal settlements in eThekwini, South Africa, as well as a model to predict risk scenarios using data from Jordan and Brazil.

In this webinar we will present BEAM from UNITAC, as well as two other tools from the City Science Lab at the Hafen City University and TUDelft

We will share some of the successes and challenges in the process of developing digital tools to support cities in their digital transformation journeys, and provide an opportunity for conversation and knowledge exchange with the audience.
