Digital Transformation for Urban Sustainability

How can digital innovation support sustainable urban development and accelerate the achievement of the SDGs?

To answer this question UNTAC Hamburg and the CityScienceLab from the HafenCity University will showcase some of their solutions. This will be followed by a Policy Dialogue on Putting People at the Centre of Smart Cities by representatives of the European Commission and the United Nations Development System collaborating to achieve an inclusive digital transformation for cities and communities within living-in.eu and promoted by the UN-Habitat flagship programme on people centered smart cities.

In the context of Europawoche, the event will be hosted by The Hanse-Office Joint Representation of the Free Hanseatic City of Hamburg and the State of Schleswig-Holstein to the EU and Ms. Katharina Fegebank, Second Mayor and Minister of Science, Research, Equality and Districts of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
