UNITAC is recruiting a Project Management Officer (P4) to be based in Hamburg, Germany, to act as the UN-Habitat - UNITAC Hamburg liaison focal point.
Under the direct supervision of the UNITAC-Hamburg Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- developing, implementing and evaluating assigned programmes/projects, in the areas of urban development, digital and frontier technologies, challenge-driven innovation and data governance;
- monitor and analyze programme/project development and implementation;
- coordinate policy development on digital transformation and urban development,
- among other responsibilities.

This position is located at the United Nations Innovation Technology Accelerator for Cities (UNITAC Hamburg), a project office based in Hamburg, Germany that is administered by the UN-Habitat External Relations, Strategy, Knowledge and Innovation Division based at headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
This is a project post. Initial appointment against this post is for a period of one year and may be subject to extension.
